She is originally from occupied Assia, Famagusta. She worked at Cyprus Central Bank (1985-2020) and owned a restaurant (1988-2003). Since 2024 she has been the President of BPW Famagusta. She is a member of the Assia Community Council. She is married and the mother of two daughters.
